Fugitive Finder: 'Hummer' Suspect Remains at Large

On the morning of January 16, 2010, Jose Hernandez allegedly punched his wife after a night of drinking.

Investigators said the wife called 911, which enraged Hernandez.

He allegedly started breaking things and throwing more punches, hitting a baby who was being held by another family member.

Hernandez then went outside the San Benito home located at 34998 F.M. 1577.

Investigators said he hopped into someone else's Hummer and rammed the vehicle into the home, causing major damage.

Witnesses said he reversed and rammed into another portion of the house.

Hernandez left the area in a Gray 2003 pickup truck and has not been seen since.

Hernandez also goes by the name Jorge Vasquez Hernandez.

Investigators believe he may be hiding out in the San Benito, Rio Hondo or Brownsville area.

He is described as a 46-year-old Hispanic man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown eyes, a bald head and a goatee.

He may still be traveling around in a Gray 2003 truck with a trailer attached to the back.

Hernandez is wanted for aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, assault family violence, criminal mischief and injury to a child.

Investigators said he is aware of the charges against him and he's still on the run.
