They are in the midst of a huge project and Melinda Zavala along with Kate McSwain explained more how you can get involved.
The HOPE Project's main goal is to inform people about the benefits of buying healthy food. When you buy local, more money stays in the area and benefits your region.
Along with trying to make these great food accessible and affordable to you, these products are chemical free and also healthy for farmers, birds and the land they're grown on.
The Rio Grande Valley Chefs Association are inviting you to join them for a homegrown fundraising dinner to benefit the community garden.
It will be on Saturday, April 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Yahweh's All Natural Farm in Harlingen. There are only a few tickets left so don't hesitate to grab yours!
