GameStop/EZ Money aggravated robbery suspect appears in court

A Mexican national was arraigned today for his involvement in various aggravated robberies.

Sergio Luis Rena robbed the EZ Pawn on Tyler at knifepoint, and the GameStop on Lincoln in Harlingen at gunpoint.

He was arrested yesterday morning at a local motel.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, and he had one outstanding warrant.

Rena was living in Harlingen and will have a court appointed attorney.

He was given a $400,000 bond for three charges.
