Country music legend George Strait is making a pit stop in the Rio Grande Valley just days before performing at the last show of his "final tour."
The legendary country singer will be performing at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo on Thursday, June 5th.
It's all part of Strait's "Cowboy Rides Away" tour, which the award-winning singer says will be his final concert tour.
The State Farm Arena tour date is two days before what is being billed as Strait's final concert tour show, which will be on June 7th just outside Dallas in Arlington.
With a career spanning at least four decades, Strait has been one of the all-time top-performers in the country music genre.
The legendary singer is best known for such hits as "All My Ex's Live in Texas," "Baby Blue," "Amarillo By Morning," and "The Cowboy Rides Away."
Tickets for the State Farm Arena show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2nd.
