Government wants to deport Mexican man for the 7th time
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement wants to deport a 32-year-old Mexican man for the seventh time.
Officers detained Agustin Jorge Figueroa-Garcia, 29, a Mexican citizen who lived in Hidalgo, on Wednesday at the Pharr city jail.
"Record checks revealed the defendant was formally removed from the United States to Mexico for the sixth (6th) time on December 25, 2014 via the El Paso, Texas Port of Entry," according to the federal criminal complaint against him.
Figueroa is charged with illegal re-entry.
Court records don't list an attorney for Figueroa, who remains in federal custody and couldn't be reached for comment.
