U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained a Mission man with three burglary convictions Tuesday and wants to deport him — again.

Officers booked Manuel Fernando Rico-Cid, 26, of Mission at the Hidalgo County jail Saturday on a misdemeanor marijuana charge.

Rico had three prior convictions for burglary of habitation, a second-degree felony, according to Hidalgo County court records.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Rico at the jail Tuesday.

"Record checks revealed the defendant was formally removed from the United States to Mexico for the first (1st) time on Aug. 9, 2010, via the Laredo Texas Port of Entry," according to the federal criminal complaint against him.

Rico is now charged with illegal re-entry.

Court records don't list an attorney for Rico, who remains in federal custody.
