Grapefruits spill on highway during 18-wheeler accident

Authorities responded to an intersection after an 18-wheeler flipped on its side spilling grapefruits on the road, which stopped traffic.
Santa Rosa Police Department, the Department of Public Safety, and Santa Rosa Fire Department all responded to the accident on the corner of FM 506 and Highway 107.
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. in Santa Rosa as the driver of the 18-wheeler was making a turn.
Crews worked to turn the 18-wheeler upright in order to clear the temporarily shut down intersection.
According to authorities, the 18-wheeler was overheating and the driver was trying to pull over causing the accident.
The 18-wheeler then flipped on its side near a ditch in front of a corner store.
The driver was not injured as a result of the accident.
Santa Rosa Police Department is currently investigation the incident involving the big rig truck.
