Tue, 26 Mar 2013 13:54:31 GMT — It's one of the most joyous and anxiety filled moments for anyone as an expecting mother awaits the arrival of her new baby. The South Texas Health System wants to make that transition a little easier on you. They'll be hosting a maternity fair in April and you're invited! Burlene Carrizales and Dr. Daniel Lee joined Action 4 Sunrise to discuss the event. This event takes place on April 6 at the Embassy Suites and McAllen Medical Center with all proceeds gained through the vendors, silent auction and physician lecture fees benefiting the March of Dimes. The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are encouraged to register for the physician lecture portion because seats are limited. The lecture will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. Food will be provided with a $5 fee that will be donated to the March of Dimes as well. If you are not able to make the event, they'll be having a live tweet chat with the hastag, #stxbaby.
