Gunman remains at large following west Harlingen shooting

Authorities are looking for a group of men following an early Thursday morning shooting in a west Harlingen neighborhood.

It all happened on the 1000 block of West Hanson Street around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Harlingen police told Action 4 News that 23-year-old man was outside his home when he was approached by four or five men.

One of the men fired a handgun twice with one of the bullets hitting the man on his upper left shoulder.

The shooting victim was taken to the Valley Baptist Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.

The men only described the shooter as a male with tattoos all over his arms and black & white clover tattoos on his neck.
