Guns, large amount of money and cocaine in toilet found during bust
Authorities arrested five suspects after a bust by Harlingen Police Department and the US Marshals.
Authorities executed a search warrant on a home located at the 2200 block of Breedlove Road in Harlingen.
There, police found ammunition, three handguns, $17,000, about three pounds of cocaine and drug packaging material.
Jewelry, electronics and cell phones were also found at the scene, according to Harlingen police.
Police said two of the suspects attempted to flush cocaine down a toilet in the home.
Five suspects were found at the home and were arrested.
Jose Luis Flores, Brian Aaron Flores, Matthew Flores and Margarito Flores were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a first degree felony.
Brian Flores and Matthew Flores were charged with tampering with evidence.
Jose Flores was also charged with deadly conduct stemming from an arrest warrant involving a discharged firearm in direction of a group back in July.
Jeremy Hazelwood was found at the location and had a pending warrant out for his arrest from another agency.
The five suspects were all transported to jail in connection to the various crimes.
Harlingen Police Department, Harlingen SWAT, High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) agents and the US Marshals assisted in executing the warrant.
