Harlingen and San Benito GameStops robbed at gunpoint in one day

Harlingen police are looking for robbery suspect

Harlingen police believe a man went on a robbery spree in San Benito and Harlingen.

They said the man is believed to have robbed the EZ Money in Harlingen at knifepoint, and the GameStop in San Benito and the GameStop in Harlingen at gunpoint.

He allegedly started off at the EZ Money located on the 1700 block of West Tyler in Harlingen where he used a knife to get away with $100.

According to Harlingen Police, a man wearing the same clothing robbed the GameStop located on the 2200 block of West Lincoln.

The man allegedly displayed a black handgun and took off with another $100.

Harlingen police believe the same suspect robbed the GameStop in San Benito before heading to the Harlingen GameStop.

He was seen in Harlingen wearing a purple shirt, camouflage cap and blue jeans.

He is described as being 5 foot 10 inches and weighs around 180 pounds.

The suspect is reported to have two teardrop tattoos near his eye.
