Harlingen Looks for Residential Input for Future Plans

The City of Harlingen is looking to make some big improvements in the community by implementing a 20-year-plan.

City leaders hope to set goals for specific neighborhoods, city infrastructure, tourism, among others.

This weekend, they'll host a planning meeting in an effort to promote community involvement.

They want to hear from residents about their needs, wants, and concerns at 2 forums they will host, and a new website aimed specifically at doing so.

This morning, Jesse Robles, a resident on the Comprehensive Planning Committee, joined Sunrise to explain.
