A Harlingen man was arrested after he threatened his son-in-law and daughter with a knife on Sunday morning.
Police responded to a home on the 1400 block of N. Anadal St. around 3 a.m.
Officers found the victims, a 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, at a neighbors home.
The couple said the woman TMs father, Octavio Jimenez Salinas, had been highly intoxicated and grabbed a knife during an argument.
48-year-old Salinas then held the knife up to the husband and wife.
The couple said they feared for their lives so they ran to the neighbors and called police.
Salinas was taken into custody and the knife was secured and tagged as evidence.
Salinas was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
His bonds totaled $400,000 for the two counts.
