A Harlingen robbery suspect is behind bars after authorities found him hiding under a bed.
Harlingen police arrested San Valentin Reyes early Friday morning.
Reyes is the fourth suspect wanted in connection to a convenience store robbery.
Armed with a shotgun, four men robbed a Stripes convenience store at gunpoint on the 1200 block of 77 Sunshine Strip earlier this week.
Harlingen police and the U.S. Marshals found Reyes hiding under a bed at a home off Halpin Road in Harlingen.
An officer passing by spotted the group running out of the store and a chase ensued.
The chase ended with the suspects crashing their get-away vehicle on the Bass Boulevard underpass.
Harlingen police Sgt. Dave Osborne said two 17-year-olds and a 19-year-old were caught but Reyes managed to flee.
"The fourth suspect was unknown at the time and he did get away, Sgt. Osborne said. Throughout the investigation and looking at surveillance video and talking to the ones we arrested, we were able to determine San Valentin Reyes was the fourth suspect responsible for that robbery and he's also suspected in other robberies."
Police also recovered the shotgun used in the robbery as well as the $30 dollars and pack of beer from the store.
Reyes is charged with aggravated robbery and is believed to be the mastermind behind the crime.
