Harlingen woman jailed after breaking little brother's nose
A Harlingen woman is behind bars after an incident where her little brother ended up with a broken nose.
It all started when Meggie Ann Rosvold came home from a work party at around 1:30 a.m. on Monday.
Her younger brother allegedly went into the room to say hi to his sister, unaware about what would happen next.
Rosvold allegedly slapped her little brother in the face and yelled vulgar remarks.
Her little brother fell on a coffee table and left the room where he then noticed his nose gushing blood.
The boy then told his older sister about his bleeding nose.
After seeing the injuries, Rosvold allegedly took her bleeding brother to the Harlingen Medical Center.
Rosvold allegedly confessed to having some alcoholic beverages at the work party and added that she was with her mother the entire time.
She also said that she became upset because her little brother went into her room when she wanted to sleep.
The boy suffered bruising and an abrasion resulting in a broken nose.
Cameron County Sheriff TMs Department deputies arrested Maggie Ann Rosvold at the hospital on an injury to a child charge.
Rosvold appeared before Cameron County Cameron Magistrate Judge Alfredo Cordona on Monday morning.
Her bond was set at $3,500.
