A 34-year-old was arrested for driving intoxicated and causing a rollover accident Wednesday morning.
Harlingen police said Juan De La Cruz was driving northbound on Expressway 77 when he struck 2006 Honda CRV from behind.
The impact of the crash caused the CRV to rollover and the driver of that Honda to sustain injuries.
Police said De La Cruz fled from the scene.
Primera police located his car minutes later and took him into custody.
After he was taken to the Harlingen City Jail, police tested the 34-year-old TMs Blood-Alcohol Content.
De La Cruz TMs B.A.C. was over the legal limit, according to police.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and accident involving injury.
His bonds total $10,000.
The extent of the victim TMs injuries are unknown at this time.
