Mission police are investigating a home invasion that left one man dead and a homeowner kidnapped.

Four suspects are involved in this case, one man is in custody and three others are at large.

Police believe that they may have caught one of the three at large, but have not confirmed.

The invasion happened around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday at a home on the 1200 block of W 24th Place.

A social gathering was going on at the residence when two of the suspects stormed into the home with long rifles.

The homeowner was kidnapped by the men and forced into a car.

When police arrived at the home, they found another man dead with several gunshot wounds to the chest.

The rifle used to kill the man was recovered.

Later Saturday morning, the homeowner was found alive, tied up in the getaway vehicle.

The car was parked at Conway and Monte Cristo. The victim is doing fine and does not face any life threatening injuries.

The men involved in the home invasion are at large and considered armed and dangerous.

Police are continuing to search for the suspects.
