Home invasion suspects demand drugs, cash & jewelry

Authorities are searching for several men who stormed a Mission home where they allegedly stole a TV, laptops and other electronics.

It happened at the 3400 block of North Bryan Road in Mission at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Mission police told Action 4 News that armed men kicked down the front and back doors at the same time.

Investigators said woman, her son and daughter in-law were all home at the time.

The mother called 911 seconds before four men burst into the home and held her at gun-point demanding jewelry, money and drugs.

When the suspects didn't find those items they made off with several electronics.

Investigators said the woman's daughter-in-law hid in a closet and also called 911.

Police said the men were in the home less than five minutes and were gone by the time police arrived minutes later.

Investigators believe more men were outside the home during the home invasion.

No arrests were made and no one was injured.
