      Hour long multi-county chase ends at wildlife refuge

      Two men have been arrested after being involved in a car chase that crossed county lines.

      Authorities said the chase started in Starr County and ended in Hidalgo County.

      The pursuit ended on South Alamo Road, right in front of the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge, according to the San Juan Police Department.

      The chase sent authorities on an hour long chase and it involved authorizes from the Starr County Sheriff TMs Department, U.S. Border Patrol and various police department.

      The Starr County Sheriff TMs Department said the chase went back and forth between different cities.

      The driver and passenger from Las Milpas were arrested in connection to the chase.

      They have been transported to the Starr County Sheriff TMs Department.
