Hundreds of packets of synthetic marijuana are off the streets following a raid at a Pharr smoke shop.
Pharr police raided Stogie TMs smoke shop at 1400 South Cage Boulevard at 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators confirmed that police seized some 297 packages of different brands of synthetic marijuana.
The synthetic drug has left reportedly left several Texas teenagers brain-damaged and caused severe reactions by other users.
Pharr Police Chief Ruben Villescas is asking for the public TMs help in finding other locations selling the underground drug.
Two store employees identified as Rafael Sanchez and Daniel Garcia were both arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
