      Jealous rage leads to stabbing

      Vincente Arguello

A Los Fresnos man stabbed another man after allegedly assuming he was seeing his girlfriend.

Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio said 23-year-old Vincente Arguello stabbed an 18-year-old man.

The incident occurred on Monday night outside the woman TMs home in Los Fresnos.

Sheriff Lucio told Action 4 News, when Arguello saw the victim Eric drop off his Arguello's girlfriend at her house, he attacked him and slashed the back of his neck.

The stabbing occurred around 11:30 p.m. near Tract 43.

Sheriff Lucio says Arguello suspected the victim was seeing his girlfriend, so he decided to wait outside his girlfriend TMs home to find out what was going on.

When the victim Eric dropped off the girl, Arguello jumped out in front of Eric TMs car and confronted him.

The verbal altercation then led to the stabbing.

The victim is currently being heavily sedated to prevent him from moving his neck, which could further aggravate the injury.

Arguello is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

His bond is set at $40,000.
