A La Feria man is behind bars after being accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl.
La Feria police arrested 21-year-old Alejandro Leos, Jr. on sexual abuse charges Wednesday afternoon.
Police Chief Don Garcia told Action 4 News that Leos is accused of having repeated sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.
Chief Garcia said the girl's mother found out and came forward with the allegations on Tuesday.
The mother found out through her other daughter, who caught Leos in the act with the teen in the family's home.
La Feria police investigated the mother's claims and arrested Leos on a continuous sexual abuse of a child charge.
Public records show that the 21-year-old lived at a home off Pancho Maples Drive in La Feria.
Leos remains in custody at the Cameron County Jail.
The suspect and the victim met on-line.
