A man was busted with a large load of cocaine after attempting to smuggle it into the U.S.
Cocaine valued at approximately $1,305,728 was found hidden in a car, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a press release.
A 28-year-old Brownsville man was arrested in connection to the load.
At secondary inspection, officers discovered the 20 pounds of cocaine in a car driven by Adrian Cantu.
The eight packages were seized along with the 28-year-old's car.
The man was turned over to the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations special agents.
