A Las Milpas store clerk is facing criminal charge after he allegedly sold beer to an undercover minor during a weekend sting operation.
Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) agents arrested 35-year-old Daniel Rivera on a selling alcohol to a minor charge on Saturday.
TABC Lt. Mario Villarreal told Action 4 News that agents fanned out across Hidalgo County hitting up at least 18 stores.
Lt. Villarreal said that out of all the stores targeted in the sting operation, only Rivera sold to the undercover minor.
Investigators confirmed that Rivera worked at an Aziz convenience store on the 6500 block of South Cage Boulevard in Pharr.
Rivera was released from the Hidalgo County Jail after posting a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
