Little Victoria captures the Valley's hearts

A funeral home in Harlingen has agreed to pay the funeral expenses for a toddler who recently lost her battle with cancer.

A 22-month old toddler, Victoria Zentina, was diagnosed with leukemia and given six months to live.

On Sunday, little Victoria died in her father's arms.

Freddy Elizondo, owner of the Trinity Funeral Home in Harlingen, stepped forward paying for all of Victoria's funeral expenses.

Victoria's mother and father told Action 4 News they are at peace because their daughter is no longer suffering.

"We cannot allow our daughter to die for no reason" said her father, Alejandro Zentina.

She impacted our lives to do something, but I don't know what that is yet" he added.

A viewing will be held at the Trinity Funeral Home in Harlingen on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Her mother, Nora, is asking for the community to send flower arrangements.

Victoria will be buried on Thursday at Monte Meta Cemetery in San Benito.
