Valley schools are in full swing and one district that's keeping very busy is Sharyland, with all sort of neat activities coming up.
Friday morning Superintendent Dr. Virginia Richter stopped to explain.
She talked about the Sharyland ISD Education Foundation Benefit Concert featuring Casey Donahew Band. The event will take place November 27th at the Las Palmas Race Park in Mission, TX and doors will open at 8:00 pm.
Pre-sale tickets are available at $25 and will cost $35 at the gate.
Richter told us the monies collected will benefit scholarships for district students.
The superintendent also touched on their new drug testing policy on students who are involved in extracurricular activities.
