A Rio Grande Valley man is back in jail for what he allegedly did to two children.
Gumaro Rodriguez, 27, is charged with two counts of indecency with a child.
Police said the alleged child victims in this case are the same victims from a previous charge of injury to a child earlier this year.
A look of disappoint crossed Rodriguez's face as a judge informed him he would have to pay every cent of a $250,000 bond just to get out of jail.
Rodriguez was given probation on the previous charge of injury to a child.
He told the judge he didn TMt understand why he was being accused of indecency with the same children.
"I had already gone to court for this, and pretty much I don't know why this happened to me, said Rodriguez. But I didn TMt do none of that.
Rodriguez now faces two to 10 years in prison with a fine of up to $10,000 if convicted.
Rodriguez will be taken to the Hidalgo County Jail Friday night.
That's what he seemed to fear the most.
Rodriguez continued to ask the judge if there was a possibility he could leave jail Friday if he got a lawyer to argue for a lower bond.
The judge told Rodriguez that would not be possible Friday.
