Man arraigned after robbing jewelry store at gunpoint

A McAllen man is behind bars after a jewelry store was robbed at gunpoint.

Hector Javier Diaz had his face covered when he allegedly went into Angel TMs Jewelry Store located on the 100 block of South Main Street.

According to police, Diaz displayed a handgun and stole jewelry from the store.

The 42-year-old appeared in McAllen Municipal Court on Friday, where his bond was set at $400,000 for a count of aggravated robbery, a first degree felony.

Another suspect remains at large.
