A Harlingen man was arrested for assault family violence after allegedly hurting his girlfriend.
Charles Wray Jr. allegedly struck his girlfriend several times across her face.
He was arrested by Harlingen police after the victim sustained lacerations on her lips on July 4th.
The 22-year-old also had an outstanding public intoxication warrant.
He appeared before Municipal Court Judge Arturo Saenz who set his bond at $2,5000 for the assault and fined $461 for public intoxication.
