Man charged with sexual assault of girl with autism

Charges have been upgraded to aggravated sexual assault of a child for a man who allegedly abducted a girl with autism from the Houston area and brought her to Harlingen.
According to the Cameron County Sheriff TMs Department, Randy lee Johnson has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and kidnapping after he allegedly abducted the 14-year-old girl outside of her Houston area home.
Investigators said that Johnson and the 14-year-old were found in a trailer park in Harlingen.
Prosecutors in the Houston area tracked Johnson down by his cell phone.
Authorities said Johnson had access to the girl through her family.
The 51-year-old is currently behind bars in the Cameron County Jail, awaiting extradition to Montgomery County where he is expected to face kidnapping charges.
Since the charges have been upgraded to aggravated sexual assault of a child, we are no longer identifying the victim.
