A man is out on bond after he was arrested for raping a girl after prom while she was drunk.
The incident happened back in May 2012 in Pharr.
Documents stated that Gilbert Feria raped the high school student after he met with her the night of prom.
The victim reportedly told authorities that she went to her high school prom with friends, but met with Feria, who was then 17-years-old, during prom.
After prom, the victim and Feria went to a club in McAllen where they reportedly drank alcohol.
It is not known how much alcohol the pair consumed, but the victim then told Feria she wanted to leave the club.
Feria drove the victim to his home; parking outside the residence where he touched kissed and touched her inappropriately.
The victim reportedly told Feria to stop touching her.
According to an affidavit obtained by Action 4 News, Feria carried the victim into his home, going to the bedroom.
The victim told Pharr police she was in and out of consciousness during this time, but she saw Feria undress.
Feria then allegedly sexually assaulted the victim in his room.
Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual assault.
The 20-year-old was taken to the Hidalgo County Jail the afternoon of July 2nd on a $100,000.
He was charged with sexual assault.
Feria bailed out of jail the same day.
