Man wanted for brutally beating wife with bat

San Juan Police need your help finding a man who brutally beat his wife with a wooden bat.

Neighbors heard commotion at the 4300 block of Rosy Street around 8:30 Tuesday morning, and called policed.

When officers arrived, they found a woman lying unconscious in a pool of blood, and her husband, Waldo Sanchez was nowhere to be found.

Investigators are not releasing why the couple was arguing, but did say the woman TMs husband ~repeatedly beat her with a bat.

She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and two broken fingers.

She tried to escape through a window, but he stopped her San Juan Police Sgt. Rudy Luna said.

The woman was also badly bruise all over her body.

Tipters claim 32-year-old Sanchez fled to Reynosa, Mexico Tuesday following the attack, but investigators believe he is still in the area.

Waldo Sanchez is wanted to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which is a felony charge.
