      Man wanted for stabbing his ex-wife & her new boyfriend

      Authorities are looking for a Raymondville man after he allegedly stabbed his ex-wife and her new boyfriend.

      It all happened at a home on the 100 block of South Texas Drive in Raymondville around 6 a.m. Wednesday.

      Raymondville police said 50-year-old Pedro Guzman, Jr. violated a protective order and broke into his ex-wife's home.

      Guzman allgedly used a knife to attack his ex-wife's new boyfriend.

      The man ended up with injuries to his forehead, chest and back while Guzman's ex-wife had injuries to her left arm.

      Paramedics rushed the two to the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

      Guzman fled the scene but is now facing burglary of a habitation, aggravated assault and violation of a protective order charges.

      Court records show that Guzman has a criminal history that includes DWI, evading arrest, resisting arrest and other crimes going back to 1985.

      Investigators said Guzman and his ex-wife divorced two years ago but he has broken into her home several times before.

      Guzman's ex-wife has dropped previous charges against him but did have a protective order filed against him.
