Marijuana drug bust in Alamo mobile home park

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents seized nearly 1,000 pounds of marijuana on Tuesday.

The drug bust happened at a mobile home park in Alamo yesterday around 5:30 p.m.

The agents were made aware of a "suspicious" truck, which they then found on the 1400 block of Nebraska Street near the local flea market.

After allegedly giving the agents consent, they were allowed to search the truck and two mobile homes nearby.

Agents discovered almost 1,000 pounds of marijuana and arrested the man in connection with the crime.

He is a Mexican National in the U.S. illegally.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $800,000.
