Do you have a child in the McAllen Independent School District?
If you do, they'll be hosting a conference this weekend to provide support on topics concerning the welfare of your child.
On Thursday morning, Dianna Menchaca spoke more about what parents can expect out of this conference.
It will be free for all parents in the school district and it will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.
There will be several dozen sessions for parents, including topics on: iPad usage, child-discipline, fitness & health, using online resources, college admissions and financial aid and bully prevention.
