McAllen jewlery store robbers get million dollar bonds

Fernando Gonzalez

Two men were charged in connection to a McAllen jewelry store robbery and given million dollar bonds each.

Fernando Gonzalez and Luis Morales were taken into custody on Friday and each charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.

The duo, along with Hector Javier Diaz, robbed Angel TMs Jewelry Store at gunpoint and fled from the scene on Tuesday.

Diaz faced a judge and was given a $400,000 bond. He was outside in a vehicle waiting while Gonzalez and Morales were inside the store.

The three men attempted to steal a Chevrolet pickup truck, but were unsuccessful.
