McAllen police believe WalMart shooting suspect fled to Mexico

Authorities believe the suspect in a robbery and shooting that took place outside a WalMart store in McAllen may have fled to Mexico.

McAllen police told Action 4 News that they believe 25-year-old Aaron Solorzano is the suspect.

Solarzano is accused of stealing a shopping cart full of merchandise from the WalMart off South Jackson Avenue late Saturday night.

Two store employees tried to stop but one was shot in her hand and the other was cut on his hand.

McAllen police said Solorzano was last seen in Donna, Texas and believed he may have crossed into Nuevo Progresso, Tamaulipas.

Solorzano is considered to be armed and dangerous.

He is described as a Hispanic male, 25 years of age, about 5 TM 5 in height, and weighs approximately 160 pounds.
