It TMs the movie everyone in the valley is talking about and it hasn TMt even hit theaters.
Mel Gibson is filming his new action flick in Brownsville and Action 4 got a backstage pass on Wednesday.
The city of Brownsville transformed into tinsel town at least for 2 days.
As Action 4 News first reported, Hollywood execs are in town shooting the movie, "How I Spent My Summer Vacation," starring Mel Gibson and his valley fans couldn TMt be more excited.
Arabella Trevino told Action 4 I think he's really, really cute even though he is older, but he's a really good actor."
Nicteloy Acosta, another super fan agreed, I mean he's super hot and everything so whatever movie he comes out in I have to watch it."
Admirers lined St. Charles Street hoping to get a glimpse of the superstar.
For 16 year old Arabella Trevino it TMs more than just meeting a star for her, she told us, it TMs meeting an idol.
Action 4 News was granted a backstage pass to witness some of the movie magic.
We were there as film crews taped a phone booth scene with Gibson who plays "Driver, a career criminal nabbed by Mexican authorities.
We captured video of the "Braveheart" actor joking around behind the scenes but when the cameras started rolling, he was all business doing what he does best, putting on a great show like he's done in past movies.
As the final scenes were shot and the movie wrapped up, the city of Brownsville can look forward to having them come back.
Peter Goodman, Film Commissioner for the city of Brownsville told Action 4. It TMs never been easier for them to film anything either in Texas or any where else in the United States."
The movie is expected to be released sometime next year.
