The family of Army Specialist Kevin Cardoza will receive his body at the McAllen airport on Monday.
Cardoza was one of five Americans killed in Afghanistan after a roadside bomb went off.
The Cardoza family had a press conference today to notify the public of the arrangements.
His body will arrive at the airport where family and veterans will gathered.
On Tuesday, there will be a parade starting at noon at the Trinity Worship Center in Pharr.
The parade and memorial for Cardoza at the Trinity Worship Center is open to the public.
His body will be laid to rest on Wednesday at the Mission Veterans TM Memorial.
The burial will not be open to the public as per the family TMs request.
There is a memorial service at Fort Bliss in El Paso on May 22nd for Cardoza and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice along with him.
Cardoza is the 47th soldier from the Valley to die in Iraq or Afghanistan.
