Two men are behind bars after a gunpoint robbery where they allegedly stole money, cigarette and scratch-off lottery tickets.
Brownsville police arrested both 21-year-old Marco Antonio Perales and 19-year-old Eduardo Martinez Jr. early Monday morning.
Investigators told Action 4 News that the two men are accused of robbing a Stripes convenience store off the 2000 block of East 14 th Street.
Two men allegedly walked into the store around 2:15 a.m. Monday and demanded cash at gunpoint.
Investigators said the men made off with cash, cigarettes and scratch-off lottery tickets.
Police found several lottery tickets in the back of the store while officers stopped their van a few blocks away on East 9 th Street.
Both men remain in custody at the Brownsville City Jail.
