      Men wanted for robbing McAllen Stripes

      McAllen police are searching for two men who robbed a Stripes convenience store by gun point.

      The robbery happened on the 1200 block of North 23rd Street New Year TMs Eve at 5 a.m.

      Investigators said that the men demanded money from the cashier.

      The suspects stole cigarettes along with the cash.

      Investigators told Action 4 that the first suspect is Hispanic, in his early 20s, around 5 TM6 and weighs 170 pounds.

      The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black beanie hat, black jeans and tan or gray shoes during the robbery.

      The second suspect is described as also Hispanic, in his early 20s around 5 TM6 and weighs 160 pounds.

      Authorities said he was wearing a black jacket, black beanie hat, black jeans and white shoes.
