A Harlingen family is getting some justice weeks after one of their loved ones was found murdered in Matamoros.

Apolonio Sanchez went missing in Mexico on Mother TMs Day weekend.

Family members say nothing will bring Sanchez back but Tamaulipas State Police have arrested three suspects for this death.

The Sanchez family spent the Fourth Of July inside a Matamoros courtroom for a pre-trial hearing.

Ana Sanchez told Action 4 News that two men and one 17-year-old boy have been arrested for her son TMs murder.

Tamaulipas State Police did not have immediate information about the case or a motive but family members said at least three more suspects have been identified.

Authorities found Sanchez TMs body near a cemetery in Matamoros back on May 24th.

Ana Sanchez first spoke with Action 4 News about her son TMs disappearance back on Mother TMs Day.

The Harlingen mother said her son crossed to Matamoros on May 10th to coach a youth soccer tournament and never returned.

The 49-year-old home health care provider had an apartment that he used in Matamoros but family members found it ransacked.

Family members crossed Sanchez TMs body back to the United States and held a funeral service in Harlingen.

Ana Sanchez said her family is glad they are finally getting some closure.
