Mexico to hold its version of "Black Friday" this weekend
Holiday bargains will come early for shoppers south of the border.
Mexican President Felipe Calderon is continuing his El Buen Fin or Good Weekend.
Although not an official holiday, Calderon started El Buen Fin as a way to stimulate the Mexican economy in 2011.
This year, major stores across Mexico are slashing prices and offering big sales on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The holiday shopping period, coincides with the 20 de Noviembre or Mexican Revolution Day.
But El Buen Fin also lands just ahead of Thanksgiving and Black Friday, a major shopping day in the United States.
