Mission teen could face life in prison for stealing an iPhone

A teenager already on probation for drugs and burglary is now facing up to life in prison for stealing an iPhone.

Mission police charged Javier Solis, Jr. with aggravated robbery on Tuesday morning.

Investigators spoke to Action 4 News about the crime.

Police said the 18-year-old pointed a BB gun at a teen walking home from a store and demanded his new iPhone last week.

Investigators said police were able to identify Solis as the suspect.
