Mission trio arrested for breaking into stash house

Three mission men face a slew of charges for allegedly breaking into a home and then leading Mission police on a high speed chase through the city.

According to the Mission Police Department, Eduardo Alvarado, Artemio Mendoza and Andres Nunez tossed out several weapons as they raced down the two-lane road.

Police found 67 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle and 22 pounds inside the residents the three men had allegedly broken into on Bryan Road in Mission.

Investigators said the three men, with loaded guns, broke down the front door of the home

Police said the trio beat up the man inside but they have yet to find that alleged victim.

According to Mission PD, witnesses called 9-1-1 and told police that three armed men were inside the home and the victim was full of blood.

There is a chance the weapons found inside the Jeep could have come from the apartment complex.

"We don't know if some of these guns were in the house and were stolen from them, said CPL Manny Casas.Or they had them already.

One of the guns, a pistol, is reported to have been stolen out of Harris County.

The three men were loaded with a multitude of charges ranging from possession of marijuana to evading arrest. Mission police are still searching for the alleged victim in this case and believe he could have been a guard placed in the home to look after the marijuana.

Alvarado received $655,000 dollars in bonds, Muez got $660,000 in bonds and Mendoza got $605,000 in bonds
