A Dallas-area woman is charged with intoxication manslaughter and other charges after two of her children were killed and two others hurt when the vehicle she was driving slammed into two parked cars.
Irving police say 30-year-old Crystal Suniga was taken to a Dallas hospital for treatment when she was hurt in the Saturday night crash. Police spokesman James McLellan tells Dallas TV station WFAA her blood alcohol was 0.18, more than twice the legal limit.
Two of her sons, Angel Reyes, 14, and Ricardo Hernandez, 10, were dead at the scene. A 16-year-old boy and girl whose age is not immediately available were hurt.
Suniga is held without bond on two counts of intoxication manslaughter, two counts of injury to a child and one count of intoxication assault.
