Another two out of three suspects in a double murder in Harlingen faced a judge on Tuesday morning.

Authorities arrested 18-year-old Jerardo Olivarez and 17-year-old Baldemar Vega on two counts of capital murder and one count of engaging in organized criminal activity on Monday.

The two men and 21-year-old Jose Luis Vega are accused in the late Saturday night deaths of 23-year-old Edgar Villanueva and 23-year-old Agustin Gonzalez, Jr.

Villanueva and Gonzalez were gunned down off West Harrison Avenue and B Street in downtown Harlingen late Saturday night.

An investigation led police to Jose Luis Vega on Sunday and later to Baldemar Vega and Olivarez on Monday.

Baldemar Vega and Olivarez appeared before a Harlingen municipal judge who set their bonds at $2.1 million dollars.

The two men remain in custody at the Harlingen City Jail but are expected to be transferred to the Carrizalez-Rucker Detention Center in Olmito.
