More teens arrested for northwest Brownsville vandalism spree

Police have arrested another seven teens in connection to a vandalism spree in a northwest Brownsville neighborhood.

A police car, mailboxes, fences and other property were left spray painted on the 2700 block of Laredo Road last month.

Police arrested three teens shortly after the incident but made seven more arrests over the weekend:

Rogelio Maldonado, 19 Jesse Castillo, 18 Virgilio Salinas, 19 Alejandro Guzman, 18 Juan Pablo Leal, 18 Crystal Ramos, 17 Yuriana Lara, 18

All the teens were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, prohibited weapon and graffiti charges.

Investigators told Action 4 News that police that the teens had a made a Molotov cocktail.

A Brownsville municipal judge gave each of them $90,000 dollars in bonds.

The case remains under investigation.

Police told Action 4 News that two more arrests are pending.
