From flash flooding to storm damage mother nature wreaked havoc in parts of the Valley today.
Our Action 4 News cameras were on the scene in Donna where heavy rain pounded the area and winds even tore apart several mobile homes.
The rain came pouring down, and it didn't take long for city streets over in Donna to flood Monday afternoon.
The weather wreaked havoc in several parts of Hidalgo County keeping emergency management crews busy, from stalled cars to outages and even fires.
We uncovered one mobile home torn to pieces, the homeowners left to pick up the pieces.
Weslaco and Donna Emergency Management Coordinator George Garrett tells Action 4 News, "The damage that we saw out in the Colonia TMs was from what appeared to be straight lined wind damage and not from any kind of tornado."
Others had to deal with lack of phone service, but for Joel Bueno Jr. it was his truck that gave out.
Bueno says, "I don't know it just choked." With some help Bueno was able to push the truck to a gas station as for what he thinks about the rain?
Bueno tells Action 4 News, "It will be good if it stop raining."
For others they seemed to be enjoying the rain a little.
But on days like this emergency management officials say the public needs be careful and be safe as possible.
Garrett tells Action 4 News, "Be cautious do not drive in obviously flooded areas because your putting you and your family in jeopardy."
