Gallegos still cannot believe her son is gone, especially when he had his entire life ahead of him.

Gallegos said that night Juvenal was supposed to be sleeping over at a friend's house in Brownsville.
"I don TMt know what went through my son TMs mind, if he thought it would be no big deal," she said.
Juvenal crossed the border into Matamoros with his teenage neighbor.
Matamoros Police told Action 4 News the teen driver Juvenal was with was speeding when he lost control and crashed into a concrete post, five blocks south of the B&M International Bridge.
Gallegos had some words for the parents of the teenage driving.
"Because of your son TMs bad decision, I have lost half of my heart, she sobbed. Broken-hearted, Gallegos struggles to make sense of her son's death.
